After the Kindle, Kindle Fire and Fire TV , Jeff Bezos today introduced the most awaited smartphone of Amazon The Amazon Fire Smartphone. The Fire Phone is different from several points of view, but the principal is the important link with the various Amazon services. Lets dig deep in to the smartphone.
Specifications and Hardware Info Of Amazon Fire
Looking at the Amazon Fire Phone we find an Android based OS terminal called Fire – a variation of Android, but focused on the world of services and products from Amazon. In terms of performance, this Fire Phone features a Snapdragon 800 dual-core processor at 2.2 Ghz, Adreno 330 for the graphics, and 2GB of RAM. The internal memory will have two options: 32 or 64 GB. As for the battery capacity it is 2400 mAh and connectivity is well served with NFC, Wifi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac LTE but only Bluetooth 3.0.
This Fire Phone has a thickness of 8.9 mm and weighing 160 grams , so not a big deal with little weight or thickness, if we compare it with other smartphones in the market.
The IPS screen is a 720p resolution is 4.7 inches. While it is not particularly interesting in the world of FHDs, we will have to look at the brightness of 590 bits which improves screen visibility in outdoors. The same protection is provided by Gorilla Glass 3 for additional protection.
The camera, another essential element in today’s smartphone, promises a lot. Firefly packs a sensor which has a resolution of 13 megapixels , with f/2.0, with five-element lens and integrated optical stabilization. Video recording is 1080p at 30 fps, while the front camera offers a resolution of 2.1 megapixels.
One aspect that Amazon has especially careful on this smartphone is the sound. It comes with stereo speakers compatible with Dolby Digital Plus technology and a flat headphones cable and magnetic type to stick both pods together when not in use.
Mysterious 3D mode
Many of the expectations surrounding this Fire was the Phone interface. There was talk of a 3D mode and multiple cameras and sensors have finally been reduced to the feature called Dynamic Perspective by Amazon. Generally we are talking about the possibility of having a sense of three-dimensionality on the screen. This 3D effect is achieved by changing the perspective of objects depending on from where you look at the screen. How does the mobile know where we look? There are four cameras/sensors in the corners , with very low power consumption. These sensors are able to detect where the user is looking, even in the dark-and display screen elements depending on the viewing angle, giving true three dimensional effect. In addition it also serves to scroll through gestural commands and also while tilting the phone.
Amazon Fire Phone, price and availability
The Amazon Fire will be released in USA associated with a two year contract with AT & T starting at $ 199 for the 32GB model and $299 for 64 GB. Without any contracts the Amazon Firefly smartphone will cost $649 , too high for what the role offers. Let see how this beauty performs in the present competitive market.
