If its anything like my Motorola/Verizon Droid Turbo 1 it will get an update to Android Marshmallow in about 6 months (after every other phone in the known universe) and it will get partial security patches 3 months after the security hole is revealed to the world. Yep I know the Moto X Force is not a Verizon branded phone but it doesn’t really matter. If I get this phone Verizon will still control and slow down my phone updates just as much as they/Motorola did with my Droid Turbo 1. I don’t think I can do this Motorola/Verizon Android update silliness any longer.
